How does the GPS tracking work?
Every rider carries a compact GPS tracker that logs their position throughout the day. That data feeds your campaign dashboard, where you can see heat maps, route replays and zone breakdowns. Email summaries arrive daily, weekly or monthly, as you choose, with total active hours, distance covered, estimated impressions and a map of everywhere your ad has been.
What format do I need for my ad?
Our screens accept static images (JPEG/PNG) and short videos (MP4, WebM or MOV). Every slot is exactly 10 seconds, so that is the length to design to: a static image holds for the full 10 seconds, a shorter video holds its last frame, and a video longer than 10 seconds is not accepted. The panels are high-brightness full-colour LEDs, so vibrant designs work best. We’ll send you exact pixel dimensions and safe-area templates when you sign up. No ad yet? Add our design service when you book, as a static image or a 10-second video, built for LED legibility, with two revisions, and the finished ad is yours outright. With the design service, the earliest start is 5 business days after you book. We’ll run any lawful, advertising-code-compliant ad, and we reserve the right to refuse creative that isn’t.
Can I choose where the riders go?
Not directly. Our riders go where their delivery work takes them. Your brand travels where Norwich moves — from high-footfall hubs like Gentleman’s Walk and Chantry Place out through the surrounding postcodes, typically within a five-mile reach of the centre. Norwich’s food-delivery hot zones are exactly where you’d want to advertise: the Lanes, Castle Quarter, Gentleman’s Walk, Chantry Place, the Golden Triangle, UEA, Riverside and Tombland. Every ride is GPS-tracked, so you see precisely which zones your campaign hit each week.
What’s the minimum commitment?
One week, and the smallest package: Starter, with 3 riders. That’s it: no long-term contract and no setup fees. Cancel before your campaign goes live for a refund, less any design fee. A 2 to 4 week test campaign is a sensible start; 4+ weeks tends to give the best results because frequency is what builds recognition, and the rate drops the longer you book (−5% at 4 weeks, −10% at 8 weeks, −15% at 12 weeks, −20% at 16 weeks, −24% at 20 weeks, −27% at 24 weeks).
What if my ad isn’t ready, or I need to cancel?
If your ad isn’t live by your start date, your start date moves to the day it goes live, and you still get every day you booked. If you’d rather not wait, or you change your mind, you can cancel before your campaign goes live for a refund, less any design fee: WhatsApp or email us and tell us which campaign. We process refunds within one business day, and Stripe then takes its usual time to return the money to your card. Once a campaign is live it isn’t refunded, unless we couldn’t provide a rider or a week you booked, which we make up or refund.
Can I change my ad during the campaign?
Yes, as often as you like, at no extra cost. Your slot buys the airtime; the creative is yours to refresh. Upload a new ad from your dashboard any time (a weekly offer, an event, a seasonal push) and it goes live as soon as our quick content review approves it, usually the same day. One creative plays at a time; if you want more simultaneous presence, you can move up to a bigger package or book a second slot from your dashboard.
What does it cost?
Advertising is sold as three fixed weekly packages, with nothing in between, and every package buys one 10-second slot in each rider's 16-slot loop: Starter, 3 riders: £72 a week now against £90 rate card; Growth, 7 riders: £140 against £175; Domination, all 10: £180 against £225. The entry point is Starter at £72 a week for 3 riders — 20% off airtime to 31 December 2026 for campaigns starting by 30 November 2026, with the rate card starting on 1 December 2026. Both prices are shown on every package; we are not pretending the higher one is a price anybody has already paid. Booking longer takes more off (−5% at 4 weeks, −10% at 8 weeks, −15% at 12 weeks, −20% at 16 weeks, −24% at 20 weeks, −27% at 24 weeks), and ad design is an optional one-off extra rather than something baked into the price: a static tri-screen image ad for £20 at the launch rate (£40 on the rate card from 1 December 2026) or a 10-second animated tri-screen ad for £40 at the launch rate (£80 on the rate card from 1 December 2026). No VAT is added — the price you see is what you pay.
How many other ads share my rider?
Every screen runs a loop of 16 slots, 10 seconds each, and one of those slots is yours, so your ad plays once every 2m 40s on every rider you book, all day. That is a hard ceiling of 16 advertisers on a bike rather than a vague rotation, and it is what lets us publish a conservative floor: 600 plays per slot, per rider, per week, estimated at the worst-case riding week. With the full 10-rider package that is 6,000 plays a week, estimated (the figure you see across the site), and the 3-rider package comes to 1,800. We don’t offer category exclusivity, so another business in your sector could be in the same loop; exclusivity is only ever agreed in writing, on WhatsApp, before you book. What you can do is buy up to 3 slots on the same rider for two or three times the share of voice (at 3× your ad plays every 53s), and taking over a rider’s whole loop is available on request.
How does CurbCast compare to billboards and other outdoor advertising in Norwich?
Traditional outdoor advertising in Norwich (billboards, bus sides, printed posters) sits in one spot and gives you no data on who saw it. Billboard advertising in the city typically costs several hundred pounds for a short run in a single location. CurbCast screens move: they ride the Lanes, Castle Quarter, Golden Triangle, UEA and Riverside all day on delivery mopeds, so one campaign covers the routes where people actually walk and shop. Every ride is GPS-tracked, so you see exactly where your ad has been, and campaigns start at £72 a week for 3 riders with no long-term contract (20% off airtime to 31 December 2026 for campaigns starting by 30 November 2026; rate card £90 a week from 1 December 2026), making it the most accessible digital out-of-home option for local businesses. No VAT is added — the price you see is what you pay.
What kind of results can I expect?
With our mopeds active daily in a compact city like Norwich, you can expect high frequency: the same people seeing your ad multiple times per week. We provide estimated impression counts, and the GPS data shows exactly where your ad has been.
