Advertiser Terms
Version 2026-10-06 · In force from 6 October 2026. These terms cover every campaign you book with CurbCast. Please read them before you pay. By paying for a campaign you agree to them.
Written in plain English on purpose. If anything is unclear, ask before you book: hello@curbcast.co.uk or WhatsApp +44 7836 295351.
1. Who we are
CurbCast is CURBCAST LTD, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17382364. Our registered office is 110a Victoria Road, Ruislip, HA4 0AL. We run a mobile advertising network in Norwich, UK: LED screens on working delivery mopeds. “We”, “us” and “CurbCast” mean CURBCAST LTD. “You” means the business that books the campaign.
We sell to businesses only. Sole traders booking for their business are welcome. By booking, you confirm that you are booking for your business and not as a consumer.
2. What you buy
You buy a campaign: one or more 10-second slots in the advert loop on each rider’s screen, for the riders and the weeks you book.
- Each screen plays a loop of 16 slots, 10 seconds each. With one slot, your advert plays once every 2m 40s on every rider in your package while that rider’s screen is on.
- You choose a package of 3, 7 or 10 riders, 1 to 3 slots, and a campaign of 1 to 52 weeks. More than 3 slots, or a whole loop, is arranged with us directly.
- Your slot is reserved as soon as your payment goes through.
- No campaign starts before 26 October 2026. With your own advert, the earliest start is the day you book. With our design service, it is 5 business days after you book.
- Your campaign goes live on the day your advert first plays on our screens. That is normally your start date. Section 4 explains what happens if your advert is not ready by then.
No exclusivity. We do not offer exclusivity to anyone, so another business in your sector, including a direct competitor, may be in the same loop. Exclusivity only applies if we agree it with you in writing before you book, for example over WhatsApp.
Where your advert goes. Our riders go where their delivery work takes them, typically within a five-mile reach of the centre of Norwich. That takes in areas such as the Lanes, Castle Quarter, Gentleman’s Walk, Chantry Place, the Golden Triangle, UEA, Riverside and Tombland. That reach is not a boundary. We cannot direct riders, so we cannot promise a particular street, area or time of day. Your dashboard shows where your advert actually went.
3. Prices and payment
The booker shows the full price of your campaign before you pay, and that is the amount you are charged. No VAT is added.
- Campaigns starting on or before 30 November 2026 pay our founding rate for each week of airtime that ends on or before 31 December 2026. Any weeks after that are charged at the rate card. Campaigns starting from 1 December 2026 pay the rate card. The booker shows both rates. The design fee is charged at its launch rate for campaigns starting on or before 30 November 2026, and at its rate card price after that (section 5).
- Airtime costs less the longer you book: 5% off from 4 weeks, rising in steps to 27% off from 24 weeks. This discount does not apply to the design fee.
- Each extra slot adds the same weekly price again.
- There are no setup fees and no long-term contract.
You pay in full when you book, by card, or by Apple Pay, Google Pay or Revolut Pay where available. Payment is handled by Stripe, and we never see your card number. Stripe emails you a receipt when the payment completes. Once you create your free advertiser account, your payments are listed there under Billing.
4. Your advert
Every campaign needs an advert. You can upload your own when you book, or add our design service (section 5).
An advert you supply stays yours. You must have the right to use everything in it, including logos, images, words and footage. You let us show it on our screens during your campaign, and in your dashboard.
You are responsible for your advert. If anyone makes a claim against us or one of our riders because of your advert, or anything you give us to put in one (for example over copyright, a trade mark or a ruling by the Advertising Standards Authority), you will cover that claim and our reasonable costs of dealing with it. We may take your advert down straight away while a claim or complaint about it is dealt with.
It must fit the screens. The three LED faces on each box form one canvas of 336 × 128 pixels. We take a still image (JPG or PNG), or a video (MP4, WebM or MOV) of up to 10 seconds and 30 MB. A slot is 10 seconds long, so a longer video is not accepted. A still image holds for the full 10 seconds and a shorter video holds its last frame. An image of a different shape plays with black bars, as the preview shows when you upload it.
We review every advert before it plays. We run any advert that is lawful and complies with the UK advertising codes. We check that it does, and that it fits the screens. If something needs changing, we tell you what. We may refuse an advert that is not lawful or does not comply, and take down one that turns out not to. Some legal categories, such as gambling, alcohol and vaping, have rules about where they can be shown, for example near schools, so tell us your category before you book.
If your advert is not ready by your start date. Whatever the reason (you have not supplied it yet, a design brief came back late, or it needs changing before it can pass review), your start date moves to the day your advert goes live. Your campaign then runs for the full length you bought, at the price you paid. If you would rather not wait, you can cancel before it goes live (section 7).
Changing it is free. You can change your advert as often as you like, before or during your campaign, at no extra cost. In your advertiser account you can upload a new image or video. It goes through the same review and replaces the current advert once approved. We aim to review it within one business day, usually the same day. Your dates, airtime and price stay as booked, and one advert plays in each slot at a time. If you want us to make the new advert, that is the design service again, at its prices in section 5.
5. The ad design service
If you add the design service, we make your advert for you, built to be readable on the LED screens and to fill all three faces. You choose one of two:
- Image ad: a static tri-screen image ad. £20 at the launch rate, for campaigns starting on or before 30 November 2026. £40 on the rate card, for campaigns starting from 1 December 2026.
- Video ad: a 10-second animated tri-screen ad. £40 at the launch rate, for campaigns starting on or before 30 November 2026. £80 on the rate card, for campaigns starting from 1 December 2026.
- After you pay, we email you a short brief within one business day.
- We send you the finished design within 3 business days of receiving your completed brief.
- Two rounds of revisions are included.
- The earliest start with the design service is 5 business days after you book. That allows a day for the brief, 3 business days for the design and a day to spare. If the brief comes back late, or the design is not ready by your start date, your start date moves as section 4 describes.
- Once we deliver it, the finished design is yours outright, to use anywhere you like. You let us show it on our screens during your campaign, and in your dashboard, as with an advert you supply.
- The design fee is a one-off charge, shown in the booker.
- If you decide to use your own artwork instead, upload it in your advertiser account before the finished design is added to your campaign. Your campaign carries on and we refund the design fee in full. This is different from cancelling, where the design fee is not refunded (section 7).
6. Plays, reporting and shortfalls
Your dashboard works out your plays from the GPS record each box sends while it is on the road. The plays figures we publish, in the booker and on this site, are conservative estimates, worked out for a worst-case riding week. They are not a guarantee.
Impressions, meaning how many people saw your advert, are estimates from a model. We never promise an exact number of viewers.
Your free advertiser account shows your plays, estimated impressions and a GPS heat map of where your advert went. You can also get summaries by email, daily, weekly or monthly.
If we cannot provide what you booked. If a rider, a box, a slot or a week you booked cannot run (a rider leaves, a box or bike is off the road, a fault), we make it up where we can, for example with another rider or extra days at the end of your campaign. Where we cannot, we refund that box’s share of what you paid for airtime, for the days it missed. Plays are estimates, so a week in which plays come in below the published estimate is not a shortfall, and a quiet week is not refunded on its own.
7. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel your campaign at any time before it goes live. We refund what you paid, less any design fee: the design fee is not refunded when you cancel.
To cancel, WhatsApp us on +44 7836 295351 or email hello@curbcast.co.uk and tell us which campaign.
Once your campaign has gone live, it is not refunded, apart from a shortfall on our side (section 6).
We process every refund within one business day. It goes back to the card or wallet you paid with, and then takes Stripe’s usual processing time to reach you.
8. Our responsibility to you
If we fall short of what you booked. If a rider, a box, a slot or a week you booked cannot run, your remedy is the one in section 6: we make it up, or refund that box’s share for the days it missed. That is the only remedy for a shortfall.
Everything else. For anything else, our total liability to you for a campaign, however it arises, is limited to the price you paid for that campaign.
We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.
9. Your data
We use the details you give us when you book to run your campaign. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and your rights.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. When we do, we tell advertisers by email, and the new version applies to campaigns booked after it takes effect. A campaign you have already paid for keeps the version it was booked under.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, whose courts have jurisdiction.
